  • Is that jet sound coming from the bike?

  • Yes, from about the 1 minute mark when he starts cranking the gears up :)

  • Actually, it's the distinct sound of his disc wheel. The carbon fiber acts like a big speaker and makes that roaring sound. It's a sound triathletes/time trialists love to hear, just not coming up behind them! :)

  • dude i was stod next to u when u filmed this wow wee.

  • @Joeylatz 85-95 is normal, are a Lance Armstrong fan per chance? Actually, no cadence is normal, everyone is different (i ride at 85-90, looks cooler, others ride at 100+). However in a race, mainly because I'm a junior and have restricted gears, I can be sat down going downhill at 40mph with a cadence closer to 200+. It's about what's comfy and works for you. Cav sprints at 120ish max, Boonen far less.

  • Do you ride a bike? 100 RPM is normal. 130 RPM is, as I said, nothing.

  • lol fuck off.......yes it is if your not sprinting.

  • 130 RPM is nothing.......

  • he gave us a framed sighned jersy

  • Korrekt video! World of backstage!

  • I wonder why he warms up with his disk wheel? I guess so he can warm up right until his start time and if for some reason he flats them pros got enough wheels to satisfy anybody.

  • holy shit hes at about 130 RPM at the peak there...

  • Cool!

  • you cant complain, it's just what it says it is. If you're watching it, it's because you want to know (probably) how Leipheimer warms up.
