Islam and German Football/Soccer Team Theme Song

Muslims are protesting in Germany that a football team references the prophet of Islam Muhammad. Here's a thought, how muslims remove the hate and violence verses in the Qur'an and the German team will remove the verses that mention Muhammad.

Well first off,Islam teaches us to respect other religions, politics and religion are two different things that could twist meanings up.

Now regarding the anthem, I do agree it is controversial/provocative... but I don't believe the intention of the song is to insult the Prophet (peace be upon him) or Muslims..

The Prophet was not sent to teach us football after-all.

The problem with Islam is that the religion and politics are one, you can not separate the two. But the main thing is that this type of behavior by muslims is getting obnoxious and old already; they need a new cause. If they really want community cohesion and better relations, than remove the jew and non-muslim hating verses from the Qur'an. It'll be a cold day in Hell if that ever happened.

In Islam, religion, and politics are too interwined, muslims need to learn from history.

Secondly, you say Islam teaches to respect other religions, but this statement is a mixed bag. On one hand you have Quranic verses that appeal to non-believers, such as Quran 2 256, Quran 109 6 than you have this, Quran 9 29, Quran 9 73, Bukhari Book 19 4363, Bukhari 9 84 57.

Do you think Muslims will remove hate mongering verses from the Koran for the Jews or Christians upon request? I don't think so!

you should be able to say what you want without all the hate that is being poured out, from the comments I see... how sad..... they can not comment with out insults and cussing...DOESN'T say much for the cycloneous and the rest......
