In Indonesia on Sulawesi in Tanah Toraja region the biggest cultural event in the society is funeral. It lasts for a couple of days and hundreds or thousands of local people take part in it. There are singing, dances and so on. But for us foreginers the buffalo sacrifice is hard to understand.

It is legal there and accepted by catholic church!

This is the tradition the tribe of, 'Tana Toraja' (South Sulawesi/ Indonesia). This is the ceremony. This is not bad. It is an honor for us for a special ceremony. This is a tradition. maybe a little unpleasant for y'll, but this is just special for us all here. and we are proud. Yes...!!! Tana Toraja. i'm (we) are proud of our tribe....!!
