Starbucks isn't a load of bollucks in my opinion. The coffee's good, and it's not that expensive considering I drink regular drip. It's only when you order those pretentious foo-foo drinks like Tall decaf chai tea skim milk latte, does it hurt your wallet lol

It was neat to see the various cafes that are still around. We have a few where I live but it is becoming more homogeneous all the time and I hate that! Long live the independent, small, family-owned cafes!

Quite by chance, I have been to three of these cafes, Regency, Alldays and the Acropolis.

Nice work. Starbucks is loads of bollocks (whatever that means), but I have a problem. I don't always have loads of cash so a card is in order (because sometimes a coffee is just worth it) and a quick sit-down with a book, many of the small cafes in NY don't take the card, this leaves me in the precarious consumer situation.
