Standard Poodle - Carpet Swiming

Every time we fed our Standard Poodle Willy pizza...he would reward us with this hilarious contortionist performance of what we eventually dubbed - Carpet Swimming. to us, it looked like he was doing some crazy side stroke. Cheap entertainment we admit. But seriously, so much fun. We ordered pizza a lot when he was still alive. He left us at age 14. We miss you Willy!

He was obviously allergic to something in the sauce. It may look cute, but his mouth was itching so he was rubbing it on the floor.

I agree that he may have had allergies. My standard does and when something bothers her she acts the same way. She is on shots and special diet. Still happens.

Poodles kick their legs out (looks like swimming/running) to rub their mouth with more force on the ground.

Lol....poodles are oodles of fun. My std. Lucy loves to go to my aunts house because she has tile floors. For hours she will lay down against the wall and push herself across and then do this across the floor. I somtimes think my aunts tiles are made of crack she loves it soo much!

my white standard Hedid does the same thing with her head up against the end of the bed.... its quite cute... but can be really annoying lolz
