@tdoc24 At least you can admit your mistake. Also, since you've experienced AK and love it, I'll cut ya some slack. :) Besides, I'm more bark than bite, so its all good. Going to return? Maybe for good? This place never leaves you. Or so I've been told as I've never really left myself.

@HeartOnMySleeve77 , lol my apologies...and i do not live there. but i do fish cook inlet .. alsaska is the most beautiful places i have ever seen.. i hate salmon though haha.. i'm only there in the summers to catch them.. and halibuts. i love halibut. i'm from louisiana. way down south..and travel yearly to enjoy alaska's beautiful wilderness.. i have pics on my myspace if my word alone is not credible. even of swimming in the lakes there..
@HeartOnMySleeve77 thats a lie its beautiful in the summer time.. and if its your home state you should know this.... its warm enough to swim in the lakes, water raft and things.. only thing that is freezing in the summer is the inlet itself.. keepn the facts right.. freezing is 32 degrees... summerit's in the 70's...
It's so sad to see how the American education system has failed SO MANY. I see posts of my home state and am dismayed to see all the unintelligent comments about Alaska.
"I didn't know there was anything warmer than freezing up there!"
