Correct. This is Shinkendo, sometimes used, I think as a basis for Toyama Ryu (and vice versa), but I didn't see anything that could be strictly considered Toyama Ryu.
Shinkendo, what was shown in the video, was created by Obata Sensei to resemble the ancient forms of swordsmanship as used by samurai during the feudal era.
And Toyama Ryu isn't ancient

Where the hell was Toyama Ryu in this video ? And the Toyama Ryu isn't art of ancient samurai, it was developed during war, to be used by soldiers.
