ohhhh i am crying righ now. my cat use to be exacly the same. he was also a maine coon. me and my husband miss him so much. we wish we could have another maine coon it s been almost a year that he s gone and we still miss him so much. :( we live in toronto , canada and they are so expensif here so i don t think we will have one again soon to keep my other domestic cat that was so close to him a little friend. :( your cat is gorgeous!!! thanks for sharing.

My male MC did that all the time up until about one years age. Then a "rescue" MC {probably a "mix"} began climbing up to the bathroom sink to lick the dripping water {at another home !} so the other one learned to do it from her...........

What a gorgeous kitty! He reminds me a lot of my little female tortie with white Maine Coon that I had; her name was "Cajun". She was the BEST! I sure do miss her ....

wow he's still so tiny. my 2 year old kitty is big enough to fill the entire sink :D He likes to take over at the exact time I need the sink to brush my teeth and get ready for bed :)

Cats like enclosures like sinks, and Maine coons in particular like water. You can turn the faucet on for her and that will be hot; but unless you want her to turn the faucet on when you are not around, don't let her watch you do it. Maine coons are
real clever; they figure things out.

@KittySnicker ... haha, if you saw his kitten picture, the way he was standing, he looked just like a honeybear (you know, the containers that they put honey in that look like little bears). This little guy was almost name "Romeo" ... but then I thought my husband might get jealous.

Thank you! Good luck on finding your perfect kitten. I was really lucky to find this kitten who also has the most amazing personality. I wanted a brown & white tabby because my special cat Max had died unexpectedly and I wanted a new kitten that resembled Max. I think it's probably a common coloring.
