First thing that came into my mind when i watched "the phantom carriage" (which is also an important influence on bergman's work as well).

My friend saw this and he automatically jumped to the conclusion that "da direktur of da Shinin' ripped awff dis seen." By that logic, Cloverfield rips off King Kong because there's a monster that runs loose in New York.
