thanks, it works for me, the gpedit.msc didn't located in system32, but in winsxs (search it!).

It does work but--it uses the .dll from XP so what you get is a version that is NOT complete for Win 7. It does not give options to change some things in IE9 for example. Such as turning off that annoying notification for addons slowing the browser.

If you're using x64: Copy the file: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\gpedit.ms
c" to "C:\Windows\System32\gpedit.ms
c" -

at last I find the way how to add gpedit at my home premium 64bit.. thx bro...
After install type "c:\Windows\SysWOW64\gpedit.msc" to the run window on win7 home premium. It works!! Thank you!!
