@DrxDopexBB He only mentions that because the National Black Police Association has just got behind the initiative.
Besides that, the race issue is important because recent studies in the US have found that there is no difference between races when it comes to drug use, selling, trafficking etc, but a huge discrepancy when it comes to arrest and incarceration.
Just one more legitimate angle to come at legalization from.
