  • What pistons rod and crank do you have?

  • I gotta try and remember now lol (my uncle built it I just took the video) I know both the crank and rods are forged 4340, and the rods are H beams, but I forget if they were Scat or Eagle...I wanna say Eagle, and the pistons are Ross forged

  • im buliding a 434 my self i got forged 4340 crank and rods from eagle

    and je 14:1 pistons

    with brodix track one heads

  • nice, what do you have for a cam ?

the Ross pistons were only 11.?-1 because the guy buying it wanted to be able to run pump gas, it has spread port brodix 11x heads, it ended up only making 691hp, but 14-1 you should be well over 700hp

  • We're putting a comp .679/.645 Lift solid roller with 312°/325° duration

    With a power band from 5000 - 7500 rpm

Our intake ports 221 ccs how about yours?

  • haha I'm pretty sure that's the same cam in this 434, the 11x's were 225cc

  • what size heads and valves?

  • Please, go ahead and keep revving it with no cooling system and no load on the flexplate.. Will be seeing you at the parts store shortly... LMAO!!!

  • Sounds like a beast

  • Watch out for that flex plate running it like that, those teeth are made to BITE, lol.

  • I just stumbled on this video and low and behold I knew the guy in it. That is Gary Overland from Overland Performance Engines in Ames, IA. Helluva nice guy and a "mad scientist" when it comes to engines for street, strip, or dirt oval. I have any contact info. for Gary if you are needing any work done.
