@DaMastaOfRoad It's to prevent actual images of the production car from surfacing before they are announced. They don't want pictures getting out early to spoil the release moment!

that is how manufacturers keep the design of their cars under wraps (when trying to test the car's performance on actual streets) until the debut

jesus people it's made like this so no one knows what it will look like until it's completely finished and presented on some carshow probably around 2010. Off course it won't look like this finished.... It's a still prototype why do you think first time presented Insignia's GT and SLR's have somehinig like a chess board camoflauge and more lights than usual?
