Cherry Creek Arts Festival: Visual Artist Jury Process

Taking place in Denver, Colorado, USA, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival is one of the most competitive outdoor visual art shows for artist acceptance annually. 200 artists are juried from over 2,000 applications. For information on the application process, visit http://www.Zapplication.org.

Artistic excellence of original, handcrafted work is the sole criteria for selection of exhibitors. The only artists exempt from the jury each year are the 12 award-winning artists from the previous year, as well as the annual commemorative poster artist. The Arts Festival features artists in 13 different media categories including: ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, graphics and printmaking, jewelry, metalworks, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and wood.

The Cherry Creek Arts Festival (CCAF), located in Denver, Colorado, is a year-round 501(c)(3) not-for-profit art services organization whose mission is to provide access to a broad array of arts experiences and support art education in Colorado. CCAF produces its signature cultural event for Colorado annually during the 4th of July weekend. The arts festival weekend event is a world-class and award-winning celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts, and enjoys an attendance of 350,000 visitors over the 3-day event. CCAF gives patrons the rare and special opportunity to meet and talk with international visual artists, sample fine cuisine, visit special exhibits and artist demonstrations, and entertain their families with interactive 'Artivities' and exciting performing arts.
