Not my video. But I own a copy of this VHS. I think it is an amazing workshop and didn't know what else to do with it but share it. It is a great lesson on communication. The video falls out of sync for a short time in the middle, but it is great content. I will have it up as long as I am allowed to. I hope Career Track remakes this one:

Lessons From Lincoln
Learn how a plain-talking president delivered such powerful messages
In "Abraham Lincoln on Communication", Gene Griessman Ph.D, a renowned educator and motivational expert, convincingly portrays the great president and famous public speaker. He dramatically presents Lincoln's timeless communication principles and shows how they can work effectively for anyone - from beginners to the most polished speakers.
You'll learn how to apply Lincoln's three basic rules for speaking plainly:
-Take pains to make sure that your facts are right.
-Determine if the person you speak to is capable of understanding and accepting your message.
-If you knock someone down, try and pick them up.
"Abraham Lincoln on Communication" can be used to teach communication skills to students, employees and supervisors, and a multimedia enhancement to group workshops. It's also fun to watch on your own.
Produced by CareerTrack in 1995 for VHS.
