I think that this is the actual text-part of the boy in the scene who tries to ask him if this is the house of Bassa Selim. The singer keeps ignoring him though and keeps on singing. If You check actual movies of the opera on youtube, You will understand the context ;) I can't identify the language in this vid though. Could be Swedish. The singers German pronounciation is excellent though.
