Juto's hometown is invaded by the North and now he joins the South Army to fight against the evil north. Can this Japanese RPG be better then just another run of the mill RPG? Check out my Magna Carta 2 review!

  • It's not a JRPG it's a KRPG... I wish people would stop thinking all "Azn like ethnicities are "Japanese" which they aren't..

  • @2007006096 The Last Remnant is the shit! I'm still on the 1st disc and am loving the hell out of it! I play it daily. :)

  • legit review, game is fun as hell

  • @dsavish Magna Carta 2 and lost odyssey is good infinite undiscovery is not that good in my opinion i haven't play tales of vesperia but i like final fantasy.

  • @darkiscoolz

    magna carta 2

    lost oddysea

    infinite undiscovery

tales of vesperia is overrated crap, just like most of them.

only reason it's well known rpg franchise is the fact it has alot of rabid fanboys, just like final fantasy.

    is what it is.

  • After finishing the amazing Enchanted Arms and Infinite Undiscovery, I decided to start this JRPG. And so far, I really enjoy it. Especially Zephie. She's awesome! :)

  • @DivineAria so you got the other easy half i guess :D lol

i also did all sidequests... and the further i came in the game , the harder it because

the worst part in the game for me was defeating beelzebub complete and the part that the princess and ninja goes inside juto (sorry i don't remember all names)

the part that enemies came out , wave after wave was just hard

in fact the gae was pretty good , but i never wanna play it again , for some reasons ,that is cuz of the dlc

Personally, I like Magna Carta 2 better than Vesperia. After about 10 hours of Vesperia, I didn't have the motivation to continue it. It was slow and going nowhere. I find most Tales games to be like that though. Lost Odyssey, on the other hand, is amazing. As for Eternal Sonata, it's a beautiful game and the battle system is decent enough but where the game fails is story and characters. The story is very lacking and there's nothing interesting about the characters.

  • @VerusWiseman

Eh, the game was harder for me during the first half. Got easier towards the end and was extremely easy by the time I got to the last boss. Then again, I did all the side-quests :/

  • i watched this review then bought the game from amazon :D

  • Well , i personally say , the game is good , but after the half its a PAIN in your back , i mean the difficulty will RISE up a lot

it goes from easy to hard

  • @darkiscoolz I would go with Tales of Vesperia and Lost Odyssey. If you are into something more "new", try eternal sonata.
