@2codmod They'd be stupid to release it for free. They'd go bankrupt if they did that, and that means no more after-release goodies ;)
RO2 will be a full-priced game with a complete multiplayer designed purely for PC, as well as co-op modes and a single player campaign where you can play as the Germans and Russians. If you dont have any money, start saving now. It's worth it. ;)

No console version is announced.
They should focus on creating a good pc shooter though.
That's the roots of RO, and creating it multiplatform right from the start will not work for RO because you will have to sacrifice a lot.
Just look what happened to Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon when Ubisoft made those multiplatform, all the depth and tactics were lost.
