LOL...the "commentator guy" is Giles Peterson, a complete legend, he is a left field DJ who's part-time job is to champion unusual, quirky and interesting music. If it wasnt for him, it would have taken a lot longer for S&P to reach western audiences. In fact there signed to his label currently. And I'd have to say that it is exactly the fact that the "agitatator" never stops yelling, and the live performance is so intense that I think these guys stand out.
oh, and by the way, i also know who art blakey is. And death jazz is just jazz but insane and with a synth playing agitator who can't stop yelling stuff. P.s Fuck you commentary guy.
the guy speaking is a complete areshole. I was one of "kids" wearing the t-shirts and hell! I know who john coltrane is! So fuck off you judgemental arescrack!
i've seen them live in Java Jazz Festival 2009. they're really cool! there is a stage in the Festival called the Exhibition Stage, its a location in the festival with the biggest crowd capacity. when soil and pimp played there, IT'S FULL!
