  • @sabamacx No, i don't have a balancer, you could balance it back in the spindle before refitting the calipers and there are a number of good balancing videos on here. So far the speeds i tend to use being older now don't induce noticeable vibration, if it did after a tyre fitting i'd have the wheel balanced, at some point i'd like to add a balancer to the set.

    To not scratch my scooter rims i wrap the levers with electrician duct tape.

  • @michaelovitch That's a great and simple idea, ( the electricians tape), I normally have a couple of thin plastic sheets cut from an old 5l plastic container but couldn't find them when I was doing this, I may try the tape next time i'm changing a tyre, thankyou.
