I have learned enough to know that it is outrageous for a "freedom fighter" to hide at a sacred site, knowing very well that there were pilgrims there and he was staking their well being in the process, not to mention that he shoudln't have been there to begin with! For all his big talk, he hid behind pilgrims at the Temple because he thought that the army would never attack him there. Disgusting lack of judgement on his part (though I am against the attack on the temple as well)

@Anotherkashmiri Who did he force to follow sikhi? And to that statement that he was hiding in the akal thakt. Also give me an example of a person he killed for not agreeing with him. He wasn't hiding. He made it clear that he was there. His simple goal was freedom. So i encourage you to learn more about the topic what started it and why it ended that way before you start throwing out statements like.

I don't know why you removed your previous comment..LOL. Btw, I agree with your "removed" comment- that Sikhism has defended rights of others(like Guru Tegh Bahadur saved us Pundits in Kashmir). My previous reply was to another comment u had made which actually implied the OPPOSITE of what u NOW seem to imply..lol. Regarding ur view that Hindu/sikh must follow their religion...Neither u nor I are God himself and therefore we cannot force others to follow their religion a certain way
@Anotherkashmiri Sant bhindranwale always supported the truth and followed the teachings of sikhi. when he was in punjab the alcohol and drug rate dropped n he preached people to follow on the right path, he never perched bad things about any religion, look in his videos he said a proper muslim should be proper muslim a hindu should be a proper hindu n sikh should be proper sikh. he was the front face of the sikh uprise against indian government (police) who discriminated sikhs and raped women

@SinghMankaran
1984 was DISGUSTING and I think that Sikhs shud let these Hindus know abt what happened. It is very sad that most Hindus are unaware (just like they are unaware abt sufferings of us Kashmiri Pundits). Re: Bhindranwale, He was no Sant. He was narrowminded and bullied and killed anyone who did not agree with him, not to mention that he hid in Akal Takht knowing very well that there was a chance that it wud get destroyed- SHAMEFUL...Gurus NEVER forced others to follow Sikhi
