@BlueAuraEX On a final note: If a Dino Crisis 4 ever "did" come out, they'd unfortunately would have to explain Dino Crisis 3, however, this could work out "very" well in Capcom's favor, and possibly make Dino Crisis 3 more likeable. Let's say that Regina saves Dylan in DC4 with the help of Rick and Gail. Once the team's all together, they swear to completely rid themselves of the Third Energy once and for all. However, some scientists managed to keep some dino DNA. BOOM! Canonicity reached!

@BlueAuraEX Now, let's say they actually "did" make a Dino Crisis 4. Here's what would actually need to happen. Regina goes and saves Dylan (Yeah yeah, I know, you all already said that, but hear me out here). Regina eventually becomes highly intelligent in the use of Third Energy. You could say she's like the new "owner" of Third Energy. The 4th game could HIGHLY utilize this idea to great lengths, by making the Third Energy an actual usable "ability". I think Capcom could pull it off.

@BlueAuraEX In Dino Stalker, it was simply implied that Dylan died to save his daughter Paula, whom was now the only human in that time. Mike Wired falls in love with her, and she falls in love with him, but it ends up being a false love. Apparently, Dino Stalker was also known as "Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis" (hence the sometimes "goofy" dinosaur designs). Dino Crisis 3=A super computer named Mother creates mutants by mixing dino DNA with human DNA. This game has no ties to the originals at all

Well, here's the thing everyone: Dino Crisis 1=Dr. Kirk creates the Third Energy phenomena. Is taken back into custody. Dino Crisis 2=Scientists steal Dr. Kirk's work, cause a whole lot of hell by sending their area back to the prehistoric ages. Dylan gets left behind with his future daughter Paula, Regina escapes and is told to study Third Energy to someday come back for him. (keyword="someday"). Then came Dino Stalker, which was basically Dino Crisis 3 (not that crazyshit space one...)
