Two plays used by the New England Patriots during their 16-0 season. The first is a flea flicker, the reciever is Gaffney not Stallworth. The second is the statue of liberty.
the 2nd isnt a statue of liberty play... the 2nd is simply a doubly fake play... its a fake bad snap (what brady does) and a fake direct snap to the rb. After that it's just a normal pass play. Statue of liberty is more like boise state's play to win a few years ago
@Borohockey28 You're missing the overall point. The Statue of Liberty play is a running play. The QB fakes like he's going to throw, and the RB takes it out of his hand and runs with it. Which isn't what the Patriots did. The Patriots faked a direct snap to the running back. In a sense, the Pats did a fake statue of liberty.
The Hoodie isn't a real fan of gadget plays. To Coach Bill the end around is usually about as crafty as he gets. Besides the direct snap to the RB in the shotgun, with Brady constantly jumping up like it is a high snap, none of the other plays ever gets repeated.
@TeamWFC no fucking shit, if you were making as much as he was and that was depending on you staying healthy you would too dumbass

Tom Brady still slides like a bitch when he waddles with the ball past the line of scrimmage...

@bjdon99 He'll do the occasional trick play. I remember when Vinatieri threw a touchdown pass and then there was the Fluite dropkick.

The second one actually tricked me. I was just thinking it was a terrible fake but he still had the ball.

@Rob1Pierce Which is exactly what I said. I said it isn't the EXACT play, but it's some shape or form of a Statue-of-Liberty.

@allathlete5 Flea flickers dont always have to be handoffs. I hate when people think they know stuff about football.
