In 1944, Japan started launching thousands of bombs, attached to balloons, from their shores to the United States. More than 300 made it to their destination...
Many citizens of the United States are still unaware about the Japanese balloon bomb incidents because the U.S. government, at the time of the attacks, had instructed the media not to report on it. That way the Japanese couldn't gather intelligence on how well the balloon bombs were doing. If they had sensed success, they could have increased and prolonged the attacks.

I think you may of misunderstood me, I was remarking on the fact that they used such great means, but to no end, if your going to kill people, you may as well do it effectively, I mean, you could just nuke people, but that seems like over kill :D
