  • THIS IS THE STORY ABOUT A HIP FROG I love this song. My mother sang it to me for a lulliby as a child now I sing it to my daughter. She would usually fall asleep about half way through. She is now six and still asks me to sing the Frog song to her.

  • Wat song is this

  • Thanks Spenna! My mom used to sing this to me when I was young, and now I get to pass it on to my daughter. I still have the vinyl LP cached away in a safe place so I can pass it on to her when she's older.

  • These guys were fantastic. Great sound and fun time.

  • Check out Bob Dylan's version of this song for more of a kid friendly song. He even sounds like a frog should! My grandmother used to sing his version to me & we would make up some verses of our own. Great memoris & songs!

  • @Wanderwd They did.In the album "Try to remember"";Be careful you must turn the sleeve upside down to read the back cover. The sloth is guitarist and singer John Paine who sing the song and is portrayed in the drawings.I love the record

  • Anyone out there know whether this group wrote/sang The Sloth?

  • @Dunkleosteus9 1965 I think.

  • I am the hip frog . Love it. Or as they say in the song, A Horny Toad . We need more songs like this .
