It's got more torque than a Viper, can pull a 7 tonne Combine Harvester and has a V10 engine. Not bad for a diesel.

  • @cheloo F1 V8s make about 850BHP but only have ~150lb-ft of torque...HP = torque * RPM. You can't make Power without torque.

  • You lost the idea.

A diesel engine will always develop more torque than power. This thing means that a diesel engine is made for torque.

  • power(BHP) is just torque times RPM, so to have torque is also to have power. cant have one without the other

  • Just makes me laugh my head off 0:36 to 0:40 ! Just one of the best reporter I've ever known, funny !!

  • so you can have 10000 hp but if you don't have torque it's zero.

diesel engine is made for torque not for power so it can drag heavy things.

  • in german "power" as an english word is sometimes used for the meaning of torque ;) but the power depends on torque, so what ^^

  • Not bad for a diesel? Diesel is made for power!

  • Dodge is part of the Chrysler Corporation.
