The peasants like the land owner in this video are in despair because of the lack of simple inalienable rights: private property, personal protection, and right to petition the government. Nothing will change until the people of China revolt and install a government that protects their human rights and gives them the means to protect themselves from the government or its thugs. Meanwhile other countries around the world will continue to exploit China for as long as possible & their environment.
