WHered you get the k&n intake? Link?

@ahines312 I just used a Superchips cortex hand held tuner. Nothing really too special about it but you will notice a difference.

@havelegs Did you have to have a tune after you install the dp, or is that not needed?

@ahines312 You'll have to have a hole cut into the DP and a flange welded in for the cut out. That can be done at any exhaust shop. The difference is noticeable at higher rpm's, it pulls more. Not sure how much HP TQ gains, perhaps 10-15 or more.

@havelegs have a 07 ss and can not find anyone that can put the electric cutouts on. I just had the k&n cai put in yesterday has already made a difference. Does the down-pipe and cutout make a big difference in hp and torque?

If you didn't see the car I would think it's a regular truck with no mufflers unfortunately, need to get tuned mufflers so it still sounds like a car. But none the less it's loud and I think you accomplished what you set out to do. (Yes I know the SS and the Silverado have the same 5.3 thats why it sounds like a truck, I own an 08 SS myself)

@Hyyerr Stock manifold and then ran thru a Holgan downpipe.
