My dad watched a lot of old Glee episodes last week. Needless to say, I was asked to do a cover of one of their songs - Bust A Move, originally by Young MC.
The original Glee soundtrack had the kick set at loud. The sound of the snare was also weird. These made it tough to edit the mix of the soundtrack and drums. Anyways, after a couple of days of editing the audio, here's my cover of Bust A Move. ^^
Peace and God bless! ^^
I dont like your songs selection

@TZayed yeah, i've been getting a lot of feedback about my song selection lately. there was a time when i just did not want to touch hip-hop or rap or r&b or country or gospel, but soon realized that i will not improve on my drumming if i stick with one type of music only. i'd love to do jazz now or just the snare in a drumline, but i do not have the skills yet. so, my youtube buddies have to bear with me as i try all of these new stuff. :)

@ptitepoulettedu91 thanks so much Chloe! i followed your advise and made my kick and snare sound way louder than i do in my audio mixes. i think my dad can do better with this mix, but i wanted to post this video already. ^^
for the toms to sound the way they do in the mix, we apply equalization only and no compression: .. 6 db boost at 60 hz - 80 hz .. 6 db cut at 300 hz - 500 hz .. 4 db boost at 8khz - 12khz
@thedunnyman Duncan, any tips on how we can make drums sound better? :)
