  • South Africa Africa in General........That is what I hate about this as if South Africa is the whole continent of Africa and all the 53 nations are South Africa. I could say .... Great Britain ...Europe in general. Why do you people always do this. It doesn't matter which age you are!

  • What i meant about that ["South Africa(Africa in General)"] was that some of the info was about specifically about South Africa, however the situation that the video emphasizes is about Africa in general.

  • Why if you film in South Africa it is a film of Africa in general? Again, I could go film a really dirtpoor place in Roemenia and say it is about Europe in General..... It doesn't hold much water ....now does it.

  • Again I take some of the information specially from the situation in South Africa, however AIDS is afecting the whole continent, therefore I state Africa in general.

However, if you want it. I will change the description.

  • Nice Work, which music did you use?

  • Thank you. it is in the description. - Untitled #1 (aka Vaka) by Sigur Ros

  • Today was the 1st time I have cried in years and I am 17 years old...the thought that most of the children in the slide show have passed:(...it is a shame what the World Health Organisation and US Government did creating AIDS to punish innocent people:(

  • I wish there weren't sappy videos like this one... makes people with aids look bad

  • great video. we all need to help

  • Is HIV the cause of AIDS?

    aliveandwell . org

"HIV is a retrovirus, a type of virus studied meticulously during two decades of federal health programs that centered around the search for a cancer virus. Since retroviruses have no cell-killing mechanisms, & cancer is a condition marked by rapid cell growth, this type of virus was considered a viable candidate for the cause of cancer."

  • "However, healthy people live in harmony with an uncountable number of harmless retroviruses; some are infectious while others are endogenous, produced by our own DNA. Few, if any, retroviruses have been shown to cause disease in humans."

  • If It's Not HIV? aliveandwell . org

    Part 1:

"AIDS is not a new disease or illness; it is a new name or designation for 29 previously known diseases and conditions. As the NIH states in its comprehensive report on AIDS, "the designation 'AIDS' is a surveillance tool."191 Since 1981, the surveillance tool AIDS has been used to track and record familiar diseases when they appear in people who have tested positive for antibodies associated with HIV."

  • Part 2:

"Every AIDS indicator disease (29 diseases, such as yeast infection, certain cancers, pneumonia, salmonella, diarrhea, or tuberculosis) occurs among people who test HIV negative, none are exclusive to those who test positive and all AIDS diseases existed before the adoption of the name "AIDS."

"Prior to the designation AIDS, these 29 diseases were not thought to have a single, common cause. In fact, all have recognized causes and treatments that are unrelated to HIV."

  • Part 3:

"There are thousands of HIV positives who lead healthy lives without toxic AIDS drugs. What they have in common is not some unique, mysterious gene or a weakened strain of the virus, but an open-minded approach to information, an understanding of basic principles of medicine and science, and the knowledge that the responsibility for their well-being is ultimately their own. For more information on their lives, please see The Other Side of AIDS."

  • Why don't they help themselves? There are very easy and cheap methods to prevent HIV-infection.
