Cotton Eye Joe is classic. Even though I like the Rednex version. This one with The Chieftains and Ricky Skaggs is my favorite. I think Cotton Eye Joe sound better when its Acoustic than Techno.

@jacquesbrelfan I'm Irish and a musician. Most bluegrass is based on Irish and Scots tunes. english influence on Irish music is minimal except for some folk songs as we had our own language which avoided British influece especially in the west of the country. Commonly known bluegrass tunes have their Irish counterparts..usually with different names. Scotland was originally invaded by Celtic tribes from Ireland that founded a kingdon called "Dal Riada" in the Scottish west.

most irish traditional music is borrowed from scotland and england but there is no doubt the irish music was brought to the applachians where bluegrass developed . and american step dancing and tap dancing came from irish dancing
