Sirius XM: John from Imperial Valley, CA Calls In to "Michelangelo Signorile Show"

I was discussing the new policy of the famed evangelical church, the Crystal Cathedral, in Orange County, California, when John from Imperial Valley, CA, called in. He is a member of the church and saw no problem with the new policy that asks choir members to sign a covenant stating that sexual intimacy is only to be enjoyed between a man and a woman. I wondered why they focus only on that issue when there are many other sins that they don't ask members to sign off on. He then told me that homosexuality is a "choice" and that even though he believes that he doesn't think he's "better than" me and still "loves" me. I told him that, actually, I do think I am better than him, for a variety of reasons, and that no, he does not love me, doesn't even know me -- that's creepy!

John, did you ever consider that gay people and their sex lives aren't here for you to agree or disagree "with." You are arrogant+judgemental. I don't spend time railing against what I guess/perceive is your sexual orientation/behavior. I am not so arrogant to make it my business to "agree" or disagree with your sexuality.
