Depressive/suicidal black metal project created at the dawn of 2010 by one man, Martynas from Lithuania. Inspiration comes from memories, emotions and all the thoughts that been held inside for too long.

Melancholy might be beautiful, but depression is ugly and dirty in every way. I tried to capture it in my songs by glorifying joyous moments experienced while being depressed.

@TheGcinda Depression is not beautiful... At work (which you don't like), you usually think that you aren't supposed to be doing this and you wish to go home. But at home you just close yourself to small world of dark and selfish thoughts. And every time you think about getting to work tomorrow kills something inside you. Then you try to remember your childhood and you realize how beautiful it was and how free you were... It goes on and on and you try to find an exit, but remember...

It's not designed to make people into a depressed state, it's for depressed people and people who can appreciate it and not get depressed of it. A lot of great music doesn't sound good at first, like some of grindcore and noisecore bands. In that case you appreciate the athmosphere of the music. Vocals of bands like The Knife, Fever Ray and Die Antwoord make me physically sick too and I can't understand how anyone can like them, but there are loads of people who love it.

@Fabzil I'll add also that when you are unsure, when you don't know what is going on in your life, listening to this kind of music will remember you as what you were when you were really down in the hole. It will be a known place, a place you have been a lot. And even if this place is horrible and dark and with an unheardable silence, it will be pleasant, and you may call it home. So some night, I'll go listen to depressive black metal & drinking, and yet I won't be happy, I'll be home.

Let me try with you leosmith. When I hear this song, it kinda channel all the sorrow and misery in me, and put words and sounds on it. It's like I'm listening to what I feel instead of feelings it actually. Doing so, I'm amazed by the incredible talent it takes for a man to be able to read my mind and put it on music, even when this man don't know me.

@fashionable5consumer But it's genre is called Depressive, it's designed to make people into a depressed state. It doesn't even sound good, the voices make me physically sick. The instrumental isn't too bad I'll admit, but there is nothing appeal in those voices whatsoever.

That was covered up before. Each of his own. It's OK that you don't like this music and it gives you negative effect, but there are people who feel the same way about seemingly positive music. Some people find this dark music not depressing at all, it might even help them in hard times. For example, in my darker periods of life I could not stand overly cheerful music as it seemed ironic and offensive to me.
