Some kind of stinkhorn found growing in shaded woodchips. Yuck. Smells bad. It has been rumored that these might grow more upright and lovely when not in captivity. If it seems drier than it should it's because of the fan. I tried to water it once. I didn't touch it. It's enough to make you want to give up time lapse. Probably clathrus columnatus. Wasn't that big a hit with local flies.
