wow!!! Really allhaih2bhs???? Id actually love to see a white chick make dancin doll or jsu jaysette or txsu motion dance squad. Now is mckinley a high step show band like a hbcu band or its corp style?? A few years back there was a high school battle of the bands in htown and a red/black school from beaumont or louisiana had a lone white dancer and she was gettin it and doin it!!

@mistermista00 I'm not sure who the red/black band was but McKinley is from Baton Rouge and they are very much a high school version of Southern University.

As for the persons debating on golden girls not having a black girl and the response of "yes the golden girls did have a black girl before", i cant ever recall a white dancing doll- maybe none have ever tried to become one. But there have been plenty of white SU band members. Alcorn St was the only HBCU band ive seen with white (reportedly russian) dance squad members back in the 80s

Dancing Dolls period and I am biased. However the difference is that Dolls have more flavor than Golden Girls and I'm a native of Baton Rouge. It's rare wen any black girls make Golden Girls. I wonder y.............hmmm thats another topic. But the black that I've known once on the team looked almost white.

Nonetheless, Dancing dolls give you more on the field. They are creme de la creme

That's because Dancing Dolls are an actual DANCE TEAM and Golden girls are LSU's drill team, not Dance Team, idiots. If you want to compare dance teams, choose the Tiger Girls.

Congrats SU Dancing Dolls on your fabulous performance with the Queen of Pop Madonna for the Superbowl Halftime. That was MAJOR. first Beyonce borrow your moves for her "Single Ladies" video then you perform with Madonna for the Superbowl halftime. You girls are the best!

@allhaih2 - The red/black high school was a high step show band. They were blowin and had a sound sound too. Most likely it a was a louisiana school since they had an SU like song selection

But theyre two totally different styles people. Thats like comparing east coast rap to southern rap or thrash metal bands to the old glam metal bands of the 80s. Both can give you entertainment. Its all preference. Ive always loved the SU dolls.
