Felicia's idea is for Cass to ask Frankie to the Valentine's Ball. What's the worst that could happen? Cass says the absolute worst that could happen is that Frankie would go to the ball with John. Felicia tells Cass that Frankie still loves him, and he looks hopeful. Frankie tells John that she still loves Cass, she's not going to deny that. John says if Frankie loves Cass she should be with him, it's as simple as that. Frankie says nothing with Cass is ever simple, and that's part of the problem. And marry Cass again now, with her feelings all jumbled up? Come on! John says he doesn't want to be caught in the middle of this, and Frankie says he's not, she is. She loves the peace and tranquility at the farm with Gregory and John and she's not sure she wants to let that go. Felicia tells Cass that not only does Frankie still love him, she misses the crazy and wild times the two of them had together. Frankie waxed poetic to Felicia about Cass for over an hour. "Yeah?" Cass asks. Then Cass wants to know if Frankie talked about John. Felicia says yes, but just a little. Felicia could see where Frankie's heart was. Cass says Felicia's the only one, then tells her that he loves Frankie and he'll do anything humanly possible to get back. Felicia tells him to let Frankie see the old Cass, see the guy she fell in love with. Cass says maybe Felicia's right and he's just feeling weak because he's sick. Then, before being overtaken by a coughing fit, Cass asks Felicia what if Frankie's feelings for John are real and this is not just a rebound thing for her. Frankie tells John she would never play with his feelings. John suggests they try going out on a real date and asks Frankie to the Valentine's Ball. Frankie says sure; Cass didn't bother to ask her, so she tells John she'll go with him, why not? Cass tells Felicia that Frankie won't go to the Valentine Ball because she hates those la-dee-dah dances and always has. Felicia tells Cass he's a chicken and hands him the phone, punching in John's number for him. John answers and gives the phone to Frankie. Cass asks her why she didn't return his call as Felicia mutters about what a good start that was. Frankie says she just got in and asks what's up. Cass apologizes and tells Frankie he's sick and she knows how he gets when he's sick. Cass asks Frankie if he could have the honor of escorting her to the Valentine Ball tomorrow, but she says she's sorry, she's already accepted an invitation from John. Then she says if that's all Cass was calling about, she and John have a scooter to build here. "A scooter?" Cass asks. "Well, don't let me hold you. Good night." He hangs up, then tells Felicia he's not going to take this lying down and starts to sit up. Felicia makes him lie back down and feels his forehead and exclaims that he's burning up. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

  • Frankie knows she loves Cass..she just has to trust that feeling. I think even John realizes that.
