Beautiful arrangement. I love the tone, so flat and simple. Thanks for posting.

This guy takes all the "wrong" notes and puts them in the right places.

@AceStapler There's a lot of cool music on that disc. Its called 'Murmers Of Earth'. Chuck Berry is on it too. When they asked Carl Segan if they should include Bach, he replied, 'Now that would just be showing off'.

Great Movie, Marc Ribot's interpretation is different.
I am a big fan of Blind Willie Johnson and I will say that, I would not consider this a cover. It is a whole different song. I have encountered no other song in my existence that could even come close to the pure soul in Dark was the Night -- Cold Was The Ground by Blind Willie Johnson. Not to mention it is on the Voyager probe somewhere out in the stars, acting as a representation of mankind.

Bill Frisell on steroids (or without them?).

Awsome!
It's different from what I saw in the movie The Soul of a Man produced by Martin Scorsese.
Where did you get this film?

It's an Extra on 'The Soul of a Man', the second in the series. I just bought the entire series on Amazon.
