  • HI, I WAS CHECKING YOUR PAGE FROM EXERCISES AND WHEN I SEE YOUR ACTIVITIES I NOTICED AN ERROR YOU WRITE: HOW MANY CHILDREN DOES SHE HAVE. THE THIRD PERSON IS AN EXCEPTION SO YOU HAVE TO WRITE: HOW MANY CHILDREN DOES SHE HAS. I HOPE YOU CAN SEE IT

  • @THIDEALLERTSE "How many children does she has?" is incorrect. The structure in questions is "Question word" + subject + auxiliary + infinitive. In other words, "does" is the auxiliary for third person sentences, not "do". "Has" is the third-person form of the verb for affirmatives and "hasn't" or "has not" is for negatives. "Have" is the "infinitive" form for third-person questions. "How many children does she have?" is correct.
