@Mr000LOL000 Tupac didn't write this song, but he did write the words to his remix of the song, which was beautiful and powerful in its own right. It's too bad that people feel the need to argue over these songs. Clearly, Tupac recognized the beauty and power of Bruce Hornsby's song or he wouldn't have made the choice to use part of it for his own rap. The really sad thing is that 26-17 years later BOTH songs are still largely true.

Piosenka na cześć: Ustawa o Prawach Obywatelskich.
Podpisana przez prezydenta Johnsona w dniu 2 lipca 1964 r. Ustawa o Prawach Obywatelskich (Civil Rights Act) jest najważniejszym narzędziem, jakim amerykańskie prawo federalne dysponuje w celu zwalczania zjawisk dyskryminacji i segregacji rasowej w Stanach Zjednoczonych.
Ustawa ta (będąca bardzo obszernym aktem prawnym) zabrania jakiejkolwiek praktyk dyskryminacyjnych i segregacyjnych z powodu przynależności rasowej.

@RetroJenny shut up, tupacs song had meaning, and tupac is one of the only rappers who 's songs have meaning, just because you don't like rap, doesn't mean it's trash

@novy1968 Tupac is a legend! He was an African-American who wrote this song (and other songs about racism and hardship), and is one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He was shot in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I´m Mexican, but this song means so much to me. I was 17 when it hit the lists. I used to listen it over and over, thinking of a girl that was my first love.sadly, didn´t work. But I will always love this song, because it always brings back her memories.
Look people, stop fighting for one second.. How ironic that this man is talking about how cold the world is and people are fighting and cursing over versions of a song. This song is legendary.. tupacs version was legendary.. its all a matter of taste. What a sad world we live in. Can we all stop fighting?

@tommykensai I think it's pathetic that some people compare Tupac's sampled trash to this original masterpiece. I don't have a problem with people listening to rap, but it bothers me when it is compared to brilliant music like this.
