This is an evil thing for me to post, but this is another example of a gorgeous lady that is a mediocre singer and good piano player. 1 Jane Monheit is already way too many bland beautiful singers....

She definately does justice to this great song. I agree the Lani Hall/Brasil '66 version is tops. I just wish this particular arrangement had more of a bossa nova feel to it.
There is nothing more joyful than watching a beautiful woman sing one of these songs.

Just read a review in the nytimes and wow...so impressed. Know the Sarah Vaughn version. This is a close second. Great band as well.

The brass simply over power Hillary's vocals and the bass/drummer seem weak in defining a rhthym.

I guess it doesn't matter that I recorded this on a Sony Handi Cam with one Cheesey mic. These are the best musicians in Manhattan. It is what it is
