1999-07-05 Just Tell Each Other Already! Part 2

5 Jul 1999 (Part 2) - After changing into dry clothes, Blake tries to give Holly an innocent explanation of what happened in the bathroom. Ross tries to help when everything Blake says sounds suggestive. Ross and Blake explain that the boys must have somehow locked them in, which amuses Holly. Ross comments on how much he misses his sons and wants to enjoy them as much as possible while they're still young. Blake takes the boys to brush their teeth, while Holly fishes for information from Ross on how he and Blake occupied themselves while trapped in the bathroom. Holly thanks Ross for all his legal help and support in the recovery from her breakdown, while Ross thanks Holly for helping with his children. Blake returns to the bedroom just in time to get the wrong idea about Ross and Holly. Ross has to go to a meeting at Towers, and after he leaves Holly tries to get information out of Blake. Flustered, Blake asks Holly to stay with the twins so she can go do something. Holly is privately happy to see the change in Ross and Blake's relationship.

Blake arrives first at Towers, only to see Ben and Beth sharing a drink. Blake sits at the bar to wait for Ross, as Beth comments to Ben that Blake is alone. Beth gives Ben a friendly good-bye, and greets Ross as they pass each other. Blake's presence distracts Ross, so he's surprised by India's arrival. India flirts with Ross as he leads her to their table, and Blake is shocked to see them together. Embarrassed, Blake rushes over to Ben and asks him to pretend that they're together.

Yes, they were apart this time because of Ben. Earlier in 1999, Blake had clearly ended things with Ben, and she and Ross were growing close again. But they kept denying their feelings, and Ben, India, and Holly all saw it. It still took Clarissa's birth to finally reunite them.
