Native Son Denied Ballot Access In Orlando -- Pt. 1 of 2

In Orlando Florida, Democrat Mayor Buddy Dyer has prevented Tim Adams, a Black man from running in Jan. 29th, 2008 local election. Dyer had his hand-picked City Clerk, Alana Brenner, and city lawyer Marianne Downs, do the dirty deed by using arcane and blatantly unconstitutional residency rules based on electric and water usage!

This happend on November 15, 2007, the day before qualifying ended. The Mayor, nor Brenner the clerk, nor the hatchet-gal Downs could be found by the media for comment on Friday--if any was even interested.

Dyer was originally indicted in 2005 (http://edocs.dlis.state.fl.us/fldocs/governor/orders/2005/05-53-dyer.pdf) and removed from office for vote fraud in the Black community by employing vote-hustler, Ezzie Thomas, to pick up absentee ballots which he would fill in for the old and weary Black seniors and personally return to the Elections Supervisor. But the State Attorney for the Fifth judicial Circuit (not the notorious SA for the Ninth Circuit (Lawson "Lawless" Lamar) simply dropped the case, wasting an entire investigation and disappointing the electorate.

It seems Mr Thomas hustled Black votes for many successful politicians, many of them still in office, and the SA gave Dyer and two other indictees a pass by doing a "pre-trial diversion," which amounts to a slap of the wrist and Buddy Dyer was reinstated in office after the payment of a $500 fine!

Tim Adams has nowhere to turn but to sue and wage the battle to regain his rights in court.

I thought Buddy Dyer was indited. I guess fraud isn't a crime in Florida.
