Clean water? Any water used in a neti-pot needs to be boiled before use — every time. Unboiled tap water can contain dangerous contaminants. People have died as a result of bacteria in tap water reaching the brain via nasal irrigation. Take the precaution seriously. Also, I wouldn't reuse that cork repeatedly. Use w/out cork.

This works. I do it when I feel congested. The difference is noticeable. This along with vitamins and I never get colds. Make sure to do one whole pot for each nostril.
