More Reasons Not to believe in God:

Reason #1 - Absurdities

It takes a fierce bias to not recognize the absurdity that is rampant in all religion. Take christianity for example. Christianity is the belief that 6,000 years ago a bearded man (yes bearded) spent a day building the universe..and then a week to make earth. He made two people out of dirt and ribs, then he made a tree, then he said don't eat that tree, then he made a talking snake with feet, then the snake said "eat the fruit from the tree" so the lady ate some fruit and because of that we get cancer....and children starve to death.

Also every animal in the world fit onto one boat, the bearded god man impregnated a virgin and gave birth to himself so that he could kill himself so he could forgive everyone for not giving him enough credit where credit is due. And there's some kind of burning cave somewhere that non-credit givers go after they die, where they get tortured and burned and cut into pieces for ever and ever, even though they don't have bodies because they are dead...

..but thats the obvious part. There's also, talking donkeys, a holy bear mauling...on a group of kids, a disappointing fig tree that deserves to die for not growing figs (according to Jesus), a dude who lives in a whale, demon pigs, zombie kings, zombies in general, promiscuous angels, holy incest, magic staffs that turn into snakes, magic hair that makes you super strong, and magic spit that heals cripples.

Oh I'm not finished. nowadays the absurdities continue. Today we have flying demon possessed rednecks. We have magic wafers that will make you lots of money if you eat them. we have deities that like to hide is cheeto corn chips. We have gibberish speakers, twitchy tweakers, and preteen peekers.

If you fail to see the absurdity in any of this...you may be viable for a free trip to the asylum.

There is nothing more about christianity that really pisses me off is the blind belief that it is "god's plan that innocent children should die every day of starvation while he is busy (so the christians believe) helping them win football games and getting them out of paying parking tickets.

@thehoodlum1919 that is just your point of view and that doesnt mean it is true. i could find something amazingly done and failing to know who made it doesnt mean i will fail to understand what i found. I can see and understand the universe which why we have a brain, but God is beyond that, it is really simple. creatures can and will never understand the creator or they will be the same.

@thehoodlum1919 no that does not include god, cause the laws that applied on any invention dont apply on the inventor, take a table for example, it is immobile, does not grow, think, eat, bleed, get sad or happy, and is made out of wood, nails, and paint. so can you say the same thing about the carpenter. the laws just dont apply on the carpenter. what you said about god and a rock that he cant lift is a contradiction in our laws, not in his. you have to think out of the box( means out of laws)

@julecezar213 okay well put it this way if the laws of physics are unchangibal that includes god he either can or cannot make a rock that even he can't lift so he has limitations so he has to play by the laws of nature how did he create time before there was time to create

@thehoodlum1919 my evidence is this whole world, including us, you can argue all you want where all this came from, whatever conclusion you come up with, I will tell you that is just your way of calling god. evolution and big bang if you were fair should make you beleive in creation actualy rather than anything else.
