I can give you more if you're interested but I'm afraid that many of the progressives don't understand how they have been conned just like how most of the conservative base doesn't understand how it has been conned.

I freely admit that I am a recovered neocon. I finally realized the lies and deceit in 2007 when I figured out that Donald Rumsfeld is a religious whack job who is guilty for our national embarrassment for the crimes committed at Abu Gharib.

In 2008 Wall St largely dropped Hillary and went for Barack because they saw him as a easier stooge for their agendas. Wall St makes billions of dollars on big govt programs & debt. This is one of the forms of corporatism that people complain about. Obama is a pseudo intellectual. Those people are always easy targets for big business. Think back to Woodrow Wilson, he to was conned by bankers who foisted on us the Federal Reserve. He was another business stupid intellectual.

Bush Jr was basically a liar or fool. He ran for office on diminished foreign interventionist policy and then two years later had us in Iraq. But the truth is also that the Democrats had been banging a war drum on Iraq for over a decade prior to that. You will find video of Al Gore criticizing Bush senior for not doing more about Saddam, him and other prominent Democrats.

I agree with you on the first part, The cycle continues when Bush was in office, They were the interventionist & they reign with militant foreign policy while the Democrats were the "innocent victims" & was in it defending the little people (so it would seen). But now, that Obama is in office Fox News pundits and established GOPs are pretending to be against the Libyan war. God, I hate this cycle. It must end in 2012. But how is Wall Street run by progressives??
