Diane, a "discovery", by the legendaryItalian-American, Post-Modernist, Underground Surrealist Poet : Vincent Ferrrini - " Know Fish " ~ " War In Heaven " ~ " Missives 2 #Poet_R_U " etc. { R.I.P. } considered Diane, ( "... sweet, tender Diana, my squealin'est wop concubine... " ) -- " Parkerville Revisited "
the most "provacative" poets of his " hapless & clueless " Post-Modern generation and heralded " Sweet Diana !"
as "Champion of the Underground Surrealism Ascension... " dvt

I don't think it could have been that early, because #49 was written partly as a response to the imprisonment of the Living Theatre in Brazil. Not sure what year that was. But thanks.
It's nice to hear this stuff. Diane made several recordings for dial-a-poem and related LPs over a period of a few years.

Giorno's notes for the first DIAL A POEM release lists this reading as NYC, '69. And you're right, the Living Theatre imprisonment was '71.
Perhaps only her hairdresser knows for sure.

Where was she reading, do you know? And when?
KenkaiBanto 2 years ago
Recorded in New York, March 21, 1969, and used as part of the dial-a-poem project.

Who read this thing? Not the author.

Yes, that's her.
