Thanks to Sue (Olakhota Kennels, Castlerea, Roscommon, Eire) we brought back to Scotland three beautiful Northern Inuit Dogs - Shadow, Gizmo and Rhatte. These video clips show the dogs recovering after their 300 mile journey across Ireland and Scotland plus a 2 hour ferry crossing. Like all dogs from Sue's kennels these three laid back chaps took the arduous journey in their stride never complaining, barking or mis-behaving. Today these boys start a new life in Scotland were they will bring joy and happiness to their new owners. Thanks Sue your dogs are real champions - best of luck with your new litter. • rlly beautiful dogs! they seem to have great temperment and character.

  • It really looks like you've got three full-grown wolves living with you! I'd love an NI, but in my current situation it just wouldn't be fair to the dog. You're very lucky. They're beautiful.

  • very lovely we have one called beth she is 3 years old now they are so loving but if you leave one alone for to long they howl the house down my wife cant work because of her but we could never be without her she taught me what unconditional love is a northan inuit ps loads of work and dog hair

  • @ObsessedWithSerpents well they dont really bark unless they are teased and you probably could keep them outside as long as you have a good secure fence coz they are good jumpers!!! xxx they can howl !! xx

  • Wow... they really look like wolf hybridsOoO Gorgeous breed^__^

  • @SkeletalWings we need more dog owners like you dude

  • I love inuits but I also love mals, I cant really decide both breeds are great.

  • gorgeous.. it'll be difficult and time consuming to import a pup from the UK to australia, but i think this is the only breed for me. <3

  • @ImSoHappiNinja Thanks for the advice, but it's more of a time problem than anything else. With me and my partner working full-time we just couldn't give a dog the care and attention it deserves. One day hopefully that will change. =D

  • @SkeletalWings if you live in like a apt or something just take it outside allot for extercise and if you live where its hot get a small sized baby pool for the dog to play in. Just trying to help you if you didnt get one by now. (:

  • are they ok to be kept outside in a pack? Also, do they bark or howl?

  • @VictorsChick4ever i have a northern inuit and he needs brushing every day as i have him living in the house with me in the UK. you have to change your whole wardrobe around these animals if you have them as house pets, but for me, the love, trust, protection and beauty of him and how hes changed my life is worth all that :)
