I don't own one myself...just went along for the ride. I think the owner told me you can get them used for around 5K. New would be around 10K.

@chincheek1 Thought one wasn't needed unless you take a passenger and then it's just an instructor license

My dad and his brother and two friends own one I went up one time it was an amazing experience..would like t go up more often
