I dont think they would send snake in with a helmet that says "US Army" on the front of it. If he were to be captured they would know who sent him.

@Spikezx7 Solid himself has done something similar twice. in the aforementioned MGS4, he does that pose when he takes off his arab disguise, and in MGS2 he does that when he lands on the Tanker. When I saw it I thought, like father, like son.
