Wasn't it Ben Brantley that called her "wooden" in this show? Every now and then I tend to have a passionate disagreement with him (his slight pan of "Ragtime" being the biggest), but Stephanie J. Block was so good in 9 to 5 and was robbed of a Tony nonination. She needs her own show asap as well.

I just love this performance, I just can't imagine a better one. Stephanie pratically immortalized this. Heh heh, I think its kinda funny how her "husband" just stands there and looks on throughout this whole song; though I guess the actor kinda enjoys it, because he gets to stand and watch Steph sing up close. XD :D:D:D

Stephanie is just so spectacular and you can see her fighting back her emotions through the entire scene. I saw her last performance in "Wicked" and she had tears streaming down her face at the end. She is such a talent and puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Someday soon all of Broadway will recognize her for her talent and reward her with a Tony or two. SJB Rules!!!!
